Waymakers Immigrant Services was founded in Seattle. The organization’s activities are directed at helping new immigrants to integrate successfully into their new communities.
Organization experience
Founder of Waymakers Immigrant Services (WIS) Organization Assyl Akimeyeva brings 20+ years of experience, working with integration of high-risk populations to successfully assimilate into society.
Prior to immigrating to the United States, Assyl Akimeyeva implemented the “Revival” program in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This internationally praised program, recognized by the UN, was highly effective at integrating at risk people to become productive members of society.
